The Audhya Lab laboratory consists of approximately 2000 square feet of designated laboratory space on the fifth floor of the Biochemical Sciences Building with equipment for biochemistry, live cell confocal microscopy, image analysis, molecular biology, C. elegans genetics, and human tissue culture cell maintenance. This space includes 10 laboratory benches, furnished office space, a 130 sq. ft. confocal microscopy suite, a 140 sq. ft. tissue culture room (shared), a large 120 sq. ft. cold room (shared), and a small media preparation room (shared). We use laboratory-wide Macintosh Pro Server with a hard drive capacity of 4 terabytes and have multiple shared computers, including an Apple iMac, three IBM PC computers (connected to the FPLC systems and confocal microscopy system), and two laser printers.
